Hirova

An AI resume builder that doesn’t make things up

Hirova is an AI resume builder for iPhone built so every number on your resume traces back to something you said, and nothing reaches your draft until you confirm it. When a metric is missing, the bullet goes without one. No AI is error-free, so you still review every draft. Hirova is not available yet.

How each number traces to your words

  1. You say what you did. Hirova asks three to five short questions about each job. Type or dictate.
  2. Your words become bullets. The AI rewrites your answers as resume lines, using the numbers, tools and names you gave.
  3. Every fact shows its source. Each title, date and number shows the words it came from, such as “You said ‘now it’s 9’.”
  4. You confirm it. One tap confirms a fact. Nothing reaches your draft until you do.
  5. The server checks the draft. A section with a number or name that is not in your facts is refused instead of shown.

They said

“We rebuilt onboarding so enterprise customers could set it up themselves. The first report used to take 21 days, now it’s 9.”

The bullet

Replaced manual enterprise onboarding with a guided setup flow, cutting time to first report from 21 to 9 days.

When a number is missing

An AI asked for an impressive bullet will often supply a percentage you never gave it. Hirova is designed not to: when your answer has no number, the bullet goes without one and describes what changed instead, and a number that is not in your facts is refused.

They said

“I made a checklist for closing the store because things kept getting missed. Now every shift uses it.”

The bullet

Wrote the store’s closing checklist, now used on every shift.

When you tailor a resume to a job posting that asks for something you haven’t mentioned, Hirova Pro asks you about it. “I don’t have this” is always an answer, and the gap stays a gap. See how to quantify a resume without making up numbers.

What our tests found

We tested Hirova’s pipeline on 30 synthetic resume profiles, not real users. 12 of 2,400 AI-written sections had a number that was not in the facts, and Hirova’s checks refused all 12, so none was shown. An AI judge still flagged unsupported claims, such as a stronger verb or a cause nobody stated, in 64 of 2,355 sections (2.7%), most often in tailored bullets and cover letters, a Hirova Pro feature. The method and limits are in What AI resume writers invent.

What it can’t promise

  • AI can still get things wrong. The checks catch numbers and names that are not in your facts. They do not catch every verb that claims more than you did, so read every line.
  • You are the fact check. Confirming a fact means you stand behind it in an interview.
  • Drafts are labelled. Each one says “AI-generated draft. Review before use.”
  • Not available yet. Not available yet. Coming to the App Store, in English. iPhone only. There is no Android or web version.

To test any AI resume builder, give it a vague answer such as “I helped with onboarding” and see whether a percentage appears. More checks are in how to compare AI resume builders.

Questions

Will the AI make stuff up?
It can. AI can invent or omit details. Hirova is designed to use facts from your answers and to ask when something is missing. Every title, date and number shows the words it came from and needs your confirmation. You still need to review every draft. Hirova is not available yet.
Where do the numbers come from?
From you. A number on the page should trace back to something you said. If you didn’t give a number, the bullet goes without one, and you can leave it out. Hirova is not available yet.
Is any AI resume builder certain never to make things up?
No. Every language model can get a detail wrong. Look for a tool that shows where each fact came from and asks you to confirm it, and read every line before you send a resume.
